Sally’s background is in sport and business, having first worked as a lawyer before moving into consultancy to specialise in recruitment, retention and human resource strategies. She helped to set up, run and sell a consultancy business which grew quickly, and so has useful direct experience of business planning, structure and performance.

Since 1998 Sally has developed a sports specialisation which brings together her commercial and business skills with her knowledge of sport. She has worked in a variety of direct and advisory roles in sport, including as a volunteer non-executive director, fire fighting performance director, national team manager and external consultant on several projects. She has national and international experience of competitive sport which is useful when dealing with performance athletes, coaches and professional support teams.

Recent work has been for UK Sport, The FA, England Netball and Sportscoach UK. As well as national sports organisations her clients include legal businesses and professional service firms.
