‘Intuitive and creative’; Lynn combines significant experience in
strategic business development; including branding, intellectual
property, product development and marketing gained in the textile
industry. A Heriot Watt ‘Design’ graduate, she has recently completed
her MBA, specialising in branding in the apparel industry.
In
addition to her consulting work, Lynn is Creative Director of Wearable
Technologies Limited, a business that adds value to apparel through the
use of technology. Prior to this Lynn was Head of Innovation and
Creativity for Chilton, a major fabric supplier to M&S and global
sports brands. Lynn has a proven track record in developing concepts
into commercial products in conjunction with managing and leveraging
intellectual property assets. Her strengths are developing product
solutions and mechanisms, which protect the innovation; including
ingredient branding. She has acquired a reputation for translating
major consumer trends.
Lynn managed the development of a
unique branded product range, TechnoSkin®. Protecting the IP,
creating the brand and applying the appropriate business model to
maximise value for the company, culminating in winning the Scottish
Enterprise Award for Innovation and Creativity.
She is a
non-executive Director of Cardonald College (Glasgow) and is particularly involved in the Department of Fashion and
Design.
